About the Role:
Join Skilled Nursing Pharmacy as a Graveyard Pharmacy Technician, where you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care during the overnight hours. Schedule:
- PM hours and overnight.
- Shift differential applicable.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently for skilled nursing facilities.
- Verify prescription orders and ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking medications as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare providers and patients.
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and patient information.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new pharmacy staff.
- Utilize pharmacy software systems for efficient workflow management.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to optimize medication therapy management.
Requirements:
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license in California.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in long-term care.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of pharmacy software and medication dispensing processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during overnight shifts.
