About the Role:

We’re seeking a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Analyst Intern to support our cybersecurity and compliance roadmap. You’ll assist with documentation, policy creation, and risk assessments — gaining hands-on experience in FedRAMP, NIST, and SOC 2 frameworks that drive real-world security governance.

This is a remote, part-time, internship ideal for students passionate about cybersecurity frameworks, policy writing, and technical project management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in FedRAMP readiness activities and internal compliance audits
  • Research and map NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 controls
  • Help draft and maintain security policies, procedures, and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with technical teams to document security-by-design practices
  • Participate in governance meetings and create clear compliance deliverables

Nice to Have:

  • CompTIA Security+, AWS, or other cloud certification
  • Experience with GRC platforms or exposure to NIST/ISO/SOC frameworks
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Interest in cybersecurity policy, compliance, or risk management
