Grease Trap Cleaner

Job Summary

We are seeking a hardworking, reliable, and safety-oriented Grease Trap Cleaner to join our team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of grease traps and interceptors at commercial kitchens (restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and cafeterias). You must be comfortable working in physically demanding conditions, handling waste, and adhering to strict environmental and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Pumping: Safely open, scrape, vacuum, and pump out grease, sludge, and food solids from interior and exterior grease traps/interceptors.
• Inspection: Inspect traps for cracks, lid integrity, baffles, and build-up levels; report any damage or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Waste Disposal: Transport collected grease and waste to designated disposal facilities in compliance with local, state, and federal environmental laws.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain vacuum trucks, hose reels, pumps, hand tools, and high-pressure washers.
• Site Restoration: Ensure the work area is clean, deodorized, and safe after service (washing down concrete, checking for spills, replacing lids securely).
• Documentation: Complete digital or paper manifests, service tickets, and GPS logs accurately for each job.
• Safety Compliance: Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (gloves, goggles, steel-toe boots, respirator) and follow OSHA standards at all times.
• Customer Service: Interact professionally with kitchen managers and staff; notify them of potential plumbing issues or recurring maintenance needs.

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
