Greek translator

We are seeking a skilled Greek Translator to accurately translate written materials from Greek to English and/or English to Greek while maintaining the original meaning, tone, and context. The ideal candidate has excellent language skills, strong attention to detail, and experience working with various types of content.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate documents, emails, reports, websites, and other materials between Greek and English.

• Ensure translations are culturally appropriate and contextually accurate.

• Proofread and edit translated content for grammar, clarity, and consistency.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams to clarify terminology and content requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, or related field (preferred).

• Native or near-native fluency in Greek and English.

• Proven experience as a translator or in a similar role.

• Strong writing and proofreading skills.

• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in specialized fields (legal or technical translation).

• Certification from a recognized translation association (e.g., ATA).

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.

Working Conditions
