Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook grilled items to meet quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
• Assist with menu planning, including selecting ingredients and developing new recipes for grilled dishes
• Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, seasoning, and portioning ingredients
• Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards throughout all stages of food handling and cooking
• Support the culinary team in meal preparation for various service types, including catering events and fine dining experiences
• Ensure proper knife skills are used for efficient and safe food cutting techniques
• Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests or dining staff, maintaining a lively service environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or food industry settings
• Proven culinary experience with a focus on grilling techniques and menu execution
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen hygiene practices
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation methods
• Experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
