Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with fresh produce, packaged goods, and other grocery items, ensuring products are properly displayed and labeled.
• Use scanners to accurately track inventory levels, perform stock counts, and update product information.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely to load, unload, and transport merchandise within the store or warehouse.
• Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, identifying shortages or overstock situations, and communicating needs to management.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, provide excellent customer service, and support their shopping experience.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store environment by performing routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage areas.
• Support shipping & receiving activities by loading and unloading shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience or retail sales background preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and scanners is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical tasks involving standing for extended periods.
• Experience operating equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is advantageous; certification is a plus.
• Multilingual skills or bilingual abilities are valued for serving diverse customer populations.
