Job Summary: As a Dairy Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our dairy department and providing excellent service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include stocking shelves, rotating products, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the dairy area. Join us in ensuring our customers have access to a wide selection of fresh and delicious dairy products.

Examples of Duties:
Receive dairy shipments and verify the accuracy of deliveries.

Stock shelves and displays with dairy products, ensuring items are neatly arranged and properly labeled.

Rotate products to ensure older items are brought to the front for sale and newer items are placed in the back.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking activities.

Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling and storage of perishable items.

Provide assistance to customers in locating dairy products and answering inquiries.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dairy department, including cleaning shelves, displays, and refrigerated cases.

Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of dairy products, including types, brands, and storage requirements.

Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.

Familiarity with inventory management principles and stocking procedures.

Skills:
Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure accuracy in stocking shelves and organizing products.

Organization: Skill in managing tasks and priorities to ensure efficient department operations.

Communication: Clear and effective communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
