Job Summary: As a Natural Foods Clerk, you will work in our natural foods department, assisting customers in finding natural, organic, and specialty products. Your role involves providing exceptional customer service, stocking shelves, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the department. Join us in promoting health and wellness and providing a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Examples of Duties:
Assist customers in locating natural and organic products, providing information, and offering recommendations.

Stock shelves and displays with natural and organic merchandise, ensuring items are neatly arranged and properly labeled.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and receiving natural foods products.

Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling and storage of perishable items.

Provide product demonstrations and samples to customers to promote natural and organic products.

Assist with promotional activities and marketing initiatives to drive sales in the natural foods department.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the natural foods department, including cleaning shelves, displays, and work areas.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient department operations and provide excellent customer service.

Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of natural and organic products, including ingredients, sourcing, and certifications.

Familiarity with health and wellness principles and dietary trends.

Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations related to natural and organic products.

Skills:
Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills for assisting customers and addressing inquiries.

Organization: Skill in managing tasks and priorities to ensure efficient department operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required.
