Job Summary:
Support the front-of-house team in delivering a smooth, welcoming, and efficient guest experience at Ground Market. The FOH Support role is highly hands-on and dynamic—helping wherever needed across the dining room and service areas, from running food and bussing tables to scooping ice cream and assisting with order flow. This position is essential to keeping service moving and ensuring guests have a seamless, enjoyable experience centered around great food and hospitality.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Run food from kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and with care
Bus, clean, and reset tables efficiently to maintain a steady dining room flow, staying in constant motion and proactively supporting guest needs
Scoop and serve ice cream and support dessert service as needed
Assist with ringing in orders and supporting POS functions when directed
Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and guest areas
Restock service items such as utensils, napkins, cups, and condiments
Support servers and bartenders by anticipating guest and service needs
Provide occasional support on the market side, assisting guests and maintaining the space as needed
Communicate clearly with FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth coordination
Assist with general guest hospitality, including greeting, directing, and supporting guest flow during busy periods
Opportunity for optional back-of-house cross-training based on interest and business needs
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to move quickly and stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and guest experience
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support across multiple roles
Comfortable on your feet for extended periods and able to lift up to 50 pounds
Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong communication skills
Ability to learn basic POS functions and follow direction during service
Experience:
Previous restaurant, café, or customer service experience preferred but not required
Experience in fast-paced, guest-facing environments a plus
No prior hospitality experience necessary—training provided
