Pre-Screen

• You may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

• Ability to follow instructions fast ( no hesitation in dangers zones)

• Calm under pressure when branches are dropping

Tree Groundman Responsibilities:

• Carrying out all maintenance duties allocated by the Supervisor.
• Understanding and carrying out verbal and written instructions.
• Assisting with tree removals, pruning, and debris disposals.
• Learning techniques and the proper use of tools from senior or more experienced crew members.
• Safely using tools and equipment like chippers and chainsaws to carry out maintenance tasks.
• Ensuring all sites are kept clean and free of hazards.
• Inspecting equipment and tools and performing repairs and maintenance when required.
• Using the appropriate gear and observing safety protocols.
• Reporting any issues or safety hazards to the Supervisor or other relevant parties.

Requirements:

• You MUST work in a same industry for at least 3-5 years
• You MUST have a valid Class 3 driving license/ CDL required
• You MUST have rigging experience
• Clean driving record
• Hauling heavy equipment
• Driving large dump trucks
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good physical strength, fitness, vision, and hearing
• Excellent balance and depth perception.
• The willingness to work during unfavorable weather conditions.
• A positive attitude.
