Groundman Truck Drivers are a critical part of the drilling team. You are first and foremost the driller’s eyes and hand on the ground as you monitor drilling conditions. You will also drive production efficiency by ensuring tools and equipment are prepared and staged correctly, help set casing, rebar and pouring/finishing concrete. Driving activities include operating a water truck or transporting tools and equipment.
If you’re a safe, hard-working and reliable Groundman who is also CDL driver that likes variety in their work, we want to talk to you. Please note you are an active crew member on a drilling crew, not solely a transport driver.

Groundman Work
Act as the driller’s eyes and hands on the ground
Identify and communicate jobsite hazards to crew leadership
Ensure tools and equipment are prepared and staged correctly
Monitor drilling conditions and communicate changes to the driller
Assist with setting casing and pouring/finishing concrete
Maintain a clean, safe job site and assist with equipment mobilization
Support shop duties and assist the crew wherever needed
Driving & Equipment Transport
Safely operate company vehicles and equipment between job sites (inter and intrastate)
Transport tools, materials, and equipment in compliance with DOT and company standards
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
Maintain clean, organized, and job ready vehicles
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following and enforcing standard procedures
This role involves hands-on work at active construction sites, primarily outdoors and exposed to a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind. You will operate in environments with uneven terrain, heavy equipment, and ongoing construction activity. The position requires physical stamina, awareness of surroundings, and the ability to follow safety procedures at all times. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required. You should be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, adapting to changing site conditions, and communicating clearly with crew members and supervisors. Flexibility and a strong commitment to safety are essential.
