Job Overview

Lake Belle RV Resort is seeking a dependable, friendly, and hardworking team member to help maintain the beauty, cleanliness, and functionality of our resort. This position combines groundskeeping, guest service, and light handyman responsibilities to ensure our guests enjoy an exceptional resort experience.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors, has basic maintenance skills, and is comfortable interacting with guests throughout the day. This role is highly visible and plays an important part in creating a welcoming environment for everyone visiting the resort.

Key Responsibilities

1. Grounds Maintenance

• Maintain the appearance of resort grounds through mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, planting, and general landscape upkeep.
• Pick up litter and debris throughout the property and keep common areas clean and attractive.
• Assist with maintaining walking paths, recreation areas, pet areas, and waterfront spaces.
• Monitor grounds for safety hazards and report concerns promptly.

2. Guest Assistance

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner while working throughout the resort.
• Assist guests with basic questions regarding resort amenities and services.
• Help guests with minor site-related needs when appropriate.
• Support the resort team in creating an outstanding guest experience.

3. Light Maintenance and Handyman Duties

• Perform light repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the property.
• Assist with maintaining picnic tables, fences, site furnishings, signage, utility hookups, and other resort features.
• Help troubleshoot and address minor maintenance issues before they become larger problems.
• Work with the Resort Manager and contractors on repair and improvement projects.

4. Equipment and Property Care

• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment safely and responsibly.
• Assist with inventory and organization of tools, supplies, and maintenance materials.
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly cleaned and stored after use.

5. Resort Support

• Assist with special projects, events, and seasonal preparations as needed.
• Support other departments when necessary to ensure smooth resort operations.
• Help maintain the high standards of cleanliness, appearance, and hospitality expected at Lake Belle RV Resort.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position with weekends and holidays as needed.
• Primarily outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Frequent walking, lifting, bending, and physical activity.
• Regular interaction with guests, staff, contractors, and vendors.
• We are a clean air resort. Smoking, vaping, and tobacco use are not permitted anywhere on the property.
• Background checks and drug tests are mandatory for employment.
