Grounds Foreman 1

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual for the position of Grounds Foreman 1. This role is essential in overseeing landscape maintenance operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a background in landscaping, lawn care, and horticulture. This position requires a passion for outdoor work and a commitment to maintaining beautiful and healthy landscapes.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain site grounds, including various types of gardens, according to maintenance schedules and policies and procedures. Major responsibility is care and maintenance of equipment, grass areas, shrubs, trees, and other plants. Perform maintenance and repair of equipment as needed. Work is performed under direction of supervisor, with some independent judgement, and subject to periodic review for results obtained and adherence to departmental policies.

2. Will perform manual labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling regardless of weather conditions. Driving.

3. Prepares various reports and performs related work as necessary.

4. Maintains inventories of pesticides, fertilizers, plants, and various grounds items.

Requirements

Requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $36,000.00 per year
