Grounds Keeper / Maintenance Technician

Serenity Mesa Recovery Center is looking for a reliable, motivated, and friendly Grounds Keeper/Maintenance Technician to join our team! This is more than just a maintenance job. It’s a chance to make a difference in a healing environment for our youth who are in recovery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Keeping our beautiful grounds clean, safe, and inviting (weeding, trimming, raking, snow removal or rain precautions, etc.)
• Performing light repairs around the property (changing light bulbs, fixing doors, patching walls you're the go-to person!)
• Assisting with facility upkeep helping make sure everything works smoothly and safely for staff and residents
• Being a friendly, helpful presence around campus – your work helps set the tone of care and pride

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

• Takes pride in doing a good job (even the small stuff)
• Isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty – in a good way
• Can work independently but is a great team player
• Has basic maintenance skills (or is eager to learn!)
• Is dependable and committed to safety and respect in a residential setting

Bonus If You Have:

• Previous maintenance or landscaping experience
• Familiarity with tools, equipment, and general facility upkeep
• A heart for helping youth and a belief in creating safe, clean, healing spaces

Essential Requirements (Education, Licensing, Experience)

· Highest education level: High school diploma or equivalent required: some college a plus

· Be able to pass CYFD Background check

* Be at least 21 years of age or older

Essential Physical Abilities

· Have full range of body motion

· Stand for extended periods of time

· Able to push, pull, reach, bend, stretch

· Lift and carry up to 100 lbs when necessary

Work Environment

· The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled residential facility as well as outdoors in the elements during all four seasons of the year.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
