Grounds Keeper Part-Time Summer/Fall
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Groundskeeper to maintain the beauty and safety of our outdoor spaces. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in creating well-kept environments. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall appearance and functionality of our grounds, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for visitors and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mow lawns, trim shrubs, and maintain flower beds to ensure a neat and attractive appearance
- Perform routine landscaping tasks such as planting, watering, and fertilizing plants
- Remove debris, leaves, and trash from outdoor areas regularly
- Maintain and operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Follow safety protocols and environmental guidelines in all groundskeeping activities
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or related field preferred
- Ability to operate lawn mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools
- Physical stamina and ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license may be required for equipment operation or transportation
