Grounds Keeping and Facility Maintenance Assistant

Position Summary

This position assists with the cleaning, maintenance, and overall appearance of a high-volume RV park. A significant portion of the job involves daily cleaning and upkeep of restroom and laundry facilities, as well as groundskeeping duties such as mowing, watering, trimming, and general outdoor maintenance. Employees are expected to work a minimum of 28 hours per week from April through October, with hours varying seasonally from November through March. Reliable attendance and punctuality are required. This position interacts regularly with guests and tenants and operates under the direct supervision of the General Manager and Assistant Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform routine groundskeeping, including mowing, watering, trimming trees and shrubs, and general outdoor maintenance.
• Clean and maintain restroom and laundry facilities, including daily cleaning and periodic deep cleaning.
• Assist with light facility maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.
• Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of park grounds and common areas.
• Provide courteous and professional service to guests, tenants, and prospective renters.
• Follow workplace safety guidelines and maintain a drug- and alcohol-free work environment.
• Communicate effectively with management, guests, and coworkers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to operate standard groundskeeping equipment safely.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
