Grounds Maintenance / Maintenance Assistant

Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to help maintain our apartment complex. This position will primarily focus on grounds keeping and landscaping, while also assisting in the maintenance apartments tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain outdoor areas including lawns, walkways, and common spaces
• Mow, edge, trim, and keep grounds clean and presentable
• Perform seasonal cleanup (leaves, debris, etc.)
• Assist with basic landscaping tasks such as planting and watering
• Support maintenance staff with simple apartment repairs and upkeep
• Help prepare units for new tenants (cleaning, minor fixes, etc.)

Requirements:

• Experience or basic knowledge using landscaping equipment (blowers, lawn mowers, trimmers, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of landscaping and grounds maintenance
• Willingness to learn and assist with apartment maintenance tasks
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Able to lift and carry heavy materials
• Takes initiative and can work with minimal or whitout supervision

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience in apartment or property maintenance
• Familiarity with basic tools and equipment
