Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, forklifts, front loader trucks, roll-off trucks, and garbage trucks to manage waste and recycling materials efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure safe and optimal operation.
• Conduct groundskeeping activities including cleaning outdoor areas, removing debris, and maintaining landscaping to promote a tidy environment.
• Load, unload, and transport materials using appropriate machinery with precision and safety awareness.
• Assist with waste collection, sorting, baling, and recycling processes by operating balers and other specialized equipment.
• Follow safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries while handling heavy lifting tasks or operating large machinery.
• Support sanitation efforts by maintaining cleanliness in work areas and ensuring compliance with environmental standards.

Experience

• Prior experience operating heavy machinery such as loaders, excavators, forklifts, or similar equipment is highly preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or waste management environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with sanitation practices and garbage truck operations is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance routines to troubleshoot minor issues promptly.
