Grounds Worker - Part Time

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our grounds maintenance team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys being outdoors, and is committed to maintaining clean, safe, and attractive grounds. This is a hands-on physical role suited to someone comfortable with outdoor labor and light equipment operation.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Weeding of landscape beds, borders, and hardscaped areas
• Watering plants, turf, and other landscaped areas as needed
• Minor sprinkler and irrigation system repairs
• String trimming along edges, fences, and structures
• Lawn mowing using both push mowers and riding mowers
• Edging along walkways, curbs, and planting beds
• Removal of debris and general site cleanup
• Other duties as assigned by the grounds supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor maintenance preferred
• Ability to safely operate push mowers, riding mowers, string trimmers, and edgers
• Basic knowledge of irrigation systems; ability to perform minor repairs a plus
• Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is a physically demanding outdoor position. Candidates must be able to walk on uneven terrain, bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate powered equipment for extended periods. Work is performed outdoors and subject to heat, humidity, and changing weather conditions.
