Groundskeeper

Summary

· Perform lawn care, mowing - using a zero-turn mower, trimming, mulching, and general landscaping for residential and commercial properties.

· Ensure lawn care equipment (mowers, trimmers, and blowers) is properly maintained, cleaned and stored after use.

· Maintain walkways, parking areas, and common outdoor spaces clean and free of debris.

· Apply salt/deicer as needed for winter safety.

· Regularly inspect grounds to address issues such as debris, overgrown vegetation, or safety hazards.

General Maintenance Support

· Assist with various repairs, routine maintenance, and upkeep tasks as needed.

· Perform cleaning, hauling, and general property upkeep.

· Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and supplies.

· Be a team player, willing to jump in and support wherever needed to keep properties well maintained and running smoothly.

· Regularly walk and inspect properties to identify and report on physical building and property needs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

· Experience in landscaping, grounds keeping and property maintenance.

· Ability to safely load and secure a riding mower onto a trailer, attach trailer to company vehicle, and transport equipment as needed.

· Basic knowledge of tools and ability to assist with general maintenance tasks.

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

· Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

· Ability to work independently.

· Ability to clean and maintain pool is a plus but not a requirement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
