Groundskeeper
Preservation and aesthetics are the face of any business. A Groundskeeper, under the supervision of the Director of Agronomy and Lake & Grounds Manager, will perform golf course ground maintenance duties.
The duties of a Groundskeeper include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Maintain greens, trees, fairways, vegetation, and landscaped areas.
- Prepare and maintain golf course grounds according to standards.
- Mow greens, trees/aprons, and the ability to use larger mowing equipment.
- Prepare and plant sod, trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Clean and perform routine maintenance on ground maintenance equipment and tools.
- Operate riding and pushing mowers, weed-eater, blowers, edgers, trimmers, over seeders, rototillers, sod cutters, wood-chippers, hand and power tools, and other ground maintenance tools and equipment.
- Perform other duties, as assigned by Property or Corporate Management
- Ability to learn methods in performing general grounds maintenance and reconstruction work.
- Understand and follow oral and written directions.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Work in a temperature extreme environment
- Ability to finish tasks with a high degree of quality and in a timely manner.
- Be a team player.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
