Groundskeeper

Job Summary:
The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the exterior appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the mall property. This role ensures that all outdoor areas, including landscaping, parking lots, sidewalks, and common areas, are well-kept, visually appealing, and safe for tenants and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain all landscaped areas, including mowing, trimming, edging, watering, and planting
• Remove trash, debris, and litter from parking lots, sidewalks, and outdoor common areas
• Perform seasonal duties such as snow removal, salting walkways, and leaf removal
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems
• Inspect grounds regularly and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues
• Assist with setup and teardown of outdoor events and seasonal displays
• Maintain cleanliness of entrances, signage areas, and outdoor seating spaces
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment and tools safely
• Support general maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or maintenance experience is a plus
• Ability to operate basic landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and reliability
• Must have a valid Drivers License

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods

Work Schedule:

• Flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
