Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor areas pristine
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for gardening, planting, and general landscape improvements
• Conduct regular lawn care activities such as seeding, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote healthy turf growth
• Assist with landscaping projects by planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery according to project specifications
• Maintain equipment and tools through routine cleaning, inspections, and minor repairs to ensure safety and longevity
• Assist with installation of grave markers

Experience

• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care, pruning, and planting methods
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes as well as power tools like trimmers and blowers
• Background in gardening or horticulture with an understanding of plant care principles
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for scheduling maintenance activities
• Previous experience working with landscaping or groundskeeping teams is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and without physical constraints
