Groundskeeper
Hourly Position: $16.11/HR
Must be flexible to work days, swings, or graves shift to include weekends and holidays
PURPOSE:
Under the direction of the Groundskeeping Supervisor, the Groundskeeper is responsible for the maintenance of all landscaping and outdoor common areas of Naskila Casino. This position is vital to guest satisfaction by maintaining an overall pleasant appearance for our guests.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs daily assignments and projects set by the department supervisor or Resort Management.

Maintains all outdoor trash receptacles, ash cans, and outdoor grills to ensure that debris is kept to a minimum at all times.

Picks up and disposes of litter daily throughout the property.

Performs daily blow down of sidewalks and decking areas.
-
Edges and mows grass regularly to prevent overgrowth.

Maintains all flower beds, pulling and keeping weeds to a minimum.

Maintains all facility landscapes and outdoor common areas and employee areas.
- Conducts daily maintenance checks on grounds equipment to ensure everything is in working order and good repair

Stays in direct contact with the department supervisor and reports any maintenance problems in a timely manner.

Work on projects with other departments on property as deemed by the General Manager.

Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:

High School diploma or GED.
Skills and Abilities:

Operational knowledge of basic lawn equipment (mowers, weed eaters, blowers, etc.)

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Must possess sensitivity to the Native American culture.

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.

Must comply with all Naskila Casino Policies.

Must successfully complete an Introductory Period.

Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner.

Must follow all Safety Rules and Regulations.

Must adhere to Dress Code and Appearance Policies.

Must maintain and wear uniform provided by Naskila Casino, if applicable.

Practice good personal hygiene.

Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary by the Department Manager.
