Job Overview:

Never Alone Adolescent Treatment Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our landscapes. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a passion for outdoor work, and proficiency in various groundskeeping tasks. The Groundskeeper will ensure that all grounds are well-kept, safe, and inviting.

Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm. On call during winter months (November - March)

Duties

• Perform regular lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass.
• Operate snow removal machines
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Assist in the irrigation of gardens and landscaped areas to ensure proper water distribution.
• Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, weeding, mulching, and pruning of shrubs and trees.
• Maintain cleanliness of all grounds by removing debris and litter.
• Monitor the health of plants and lawns, identifying any issues such as pests or diseases.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscaping projects.
• Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred.
• Proficiency in using power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Knowledge of gardening techniques and landscape design principles is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
