Groundskeeper / Apartment Porter

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper / Apartment Porter to help maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of a 448-unit apartment community in Tacoma, Washington.

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the property’s grounds and common areas, including the use of power washing and air-driven removal of leaves and debris. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is self-motivated, and can maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily litter patrol throughout the property
Dog waste (pet station) cleanup and monitoring
Maintain and clean dumpster and compactor areas
Sweeping and general cleaning of walkways, breezeways, and stairwells
Deep cleaning tasks such as scrubbing and/or pressure washing surfaces
Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to management

Requirements:

Ability to pass a background check
Ability to walk extensively throughout the day, including climbing stairs
Ability to lift, handle and remove garbage and furniture
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
