Groundskeeper / General Maintenance

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Groundskeeper / General maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team dedicated to servicing and maintaining our car wash spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of cleaning and small maintenance tasks that enhance the aesthetic appeal and quality of our properties. Duties

• Cleaning and maintaining car wash bays using chemical and high pressure water. Heavy soiling requires shoveling material.
• Maintain landscapes by trimming, pruning, mowing, and edging lawns using hand tools and power tools.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting soap levels and usage, verifying equipment is working properly, periodic resetting of equipment, and emptying trash containers.
• Observe basic property care in cleaning up after customers and identifying potential issues, and implement solutions.
• Communicate with customers about equipment malfunctions and resolve disputes due to malfunctions.
• Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks like digging, drilling, washing, and sweeping.
• Assist with larger update project such as running new hoses and cables in attic spaces, replacing faulty bay booms, and vacuum system upgrades.
• Support team efforts in maintaining the overall appearance of properties through lawn care and bay upkeep.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a valid U.S. Drivers License and be able to operate a motor vehicle to move between sites.
• Prior experience or knowledge in basic mechanics, plumbing or electrical is preferred but not required—training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Familiarity with car wash systems, landscape maintenance practices, and the use of hand tools and power tools is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to property care tasks.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new techniques.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy equipment or materials as needed. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pound bags and full 5 gallon containers.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
