Groundskeeper & Maintenance Manager Job Description:
Power Cross is seeking to add an experienced groundskeeper who has great maintenance knowledge and skills to the team. We aim to serve the Lord and honor all the facilities, field, vehicles, and campuses He has provided for us with excellent care.
Field and Facility Maintenance:
Fleet Management:

Train Staff on completing Daily Vehicle Pre-Check.

Facilitate and schedule all vehicle maintenance.

Facilitate and schedule all vehicle repairs.
-
Schedule weekly fueling and pre-check and post-route checklist.
-
Routinely operate the vehicles for a safety evaluation.
-
Schedule & Carryout all annual inspections and tag renewals.
-
Train new drivers on acceptable driving practices.
-
Be “on call” for emergency vehicle or facility situations.
Facility Management:
-
Working with Natalie, Jeff, Directors and Staff update and sustain Vendor List for all facility’s needs.

Identify items in need of repair or replacement both inside and outside all Power Cross Facilities, including Abernathy Park and the Power Cross Cafe.

Serve as the contact and Liaison for all repair contractors.

Create a daily maintenance/upkeep checklist for each area of campus.

Work with DOR to assign staff to complete these tasks.

Responsible for receiving quotes for all repairs or replacement of items.

Serve as liaison for all upcoming renovation projects that require meeting with contractors and inspectors, or receiving quotes for upcoming projects.

Maintain that all AC & plumbing are functioning properly.

Maintain all large appliances.

Be “on call” for emergency vehicle and facility situations.
Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge of Grounds Maintenance, Vehicle Troubleshooting, and general facility maintenance and repair ability.

Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.

Ability to Operate Equipment: Proficiency in operating various types of groundskeeping equipment.

Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and address problems with fields and facilities.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with coaches, staff, and students.

Basic Knowledge of tools and home repair.
