Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach prides itself on the resort's appearance in keeping with the theme and local vegetation. The Groundskeeper position will ensure that the resort is maintained in pristine condition for guests.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, planting, fertilizing, and weeding.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems.
• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of resort grounds, including lawns, gardens, walkways, and outdoor common areas.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment used in groundskeeping, ensuring proper functionality and longevity of tools.
• Water plants and grass as necessary, adjusting irrigation schedules based on weather conditions, and applying fertilizer as required for optimal growth.
• Report any damage, safety concerns, or maintenance needs to the appropriate department.
• Assist with other landscaping or maintenance-related duties as assigned by management to support overall resort operations and guest satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of groundskeeping or landscape experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Physical requirements include prolonged walking and standing, bending, and stooping.
• Requires effective communication and organizational skills.
