Job Summary / Overview

This position is responsible for maintaining designated park grounds and parking areas, including landscaping, irrigation, mowing, general cleaning, and pesticide application. The role also supports park events as scheduled, including setup, breakdown, and on-site assistance. Additionally, this position may require enforcing park rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Open and close the park as scheduled, including unlocking gates for public access and securing all entrances and equipment at closing.
• Notify visitors of closing times and ensure the park is cleared prior to locking gates.
• Perform landscaping duties, including mowing, edging, irrigation maintenance, planting, weeding, minor tree trimming, and general upkeep of park grounds and parking areas.
• Maintain cleanliness by removing trash, debris, and other waste from the property.
• Assist with traffic and parking control as needed.
• Apply pesticides and herbicides in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Monitor park conditions and report incidents, safety concerns, or maintenance needs to management.
• Provide excellent service to park visitors, prioritizing safety, enjoyment, and a welcoming environment.
• Build positive relationships with visitors and maintain a professional, courteous demeanor.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
