Groundskeeper/Maintenance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a neat, organized, enthusiastic, motivated individual capable of tasks associated with helping to maintain a horse barn, buildings and grounds. Mowing is a must, understanding of sustainable, organic practices a plus. Will be working near horses, must be respectful of them.

Responsibilities:

Work with our maintenance staff to keep our horse boarding facility in top condition inside and out.

Skills:

Knowledge of standard practices, methods, tools, materials and equipment used in property and building maintenance.

Experience with light electric, plumbing and basic carpentry.

Basic English grammar, spelling, and usage of general arithmetic and mathematic principles.

Ability to read diagrams, maps and work orders.

Use and maintain tools and equipment associated with building maintenance.

Perform most duties in the absence of a maintenance supervisor.

Experience with Skid Steers, tractors and zero turn mowers

Be organized, neat and detail oriented

Required: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license and reliable transportation, ability to read an understand written instructions, proficiency in English.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
