Groundskeeper/Maintenance

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining beautiful landscapes and ensuring that outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and inviting. As a Groundskeeper, you will play a vital role in the upkeep of our grounds through various landscaping and maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall aesthetic appeal of the property.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass.
• Snow removal using snow blowers and power shovels.
• Salting of walkways and paths.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas to ensure optimal growth of plants and flowers.
• Conduct landscape maintenance by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed.
• Clear debris from walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas to maintain cleanliness.
• Assist in the design and implementation of new landscaping projects.
• Maintain equipment used for groundskeeping to ensure it is in good working condition.

Requirements

• Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in landscaping.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and lawn care practices is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on job location.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
