Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our landscapes, gardens, and outdoor spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, and proficiency in using various hand and power tools.

Duties

• Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns to ensure a neat appearance.
• Care for gardens by planting, watering, weeding, and mulching to promote healthy growth.
• Operate power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers effectively and safely.
• Utilize hand tools for various tasks including digging, planting, and pruning plants.
• Irrigate landscapes as needed to maintain optimal moisture levels in the soil.
• Monitor the health of plants and lawns, identifying pests or diseases that may require attention.
• Maintain cleanliness of grounds by removing debris and litter from outdoor areas.
• Assist in the design and implementation of new landscaping projects as directed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques and landscape design principles is advantageous.
• Ability to operate and maintain power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods in various weather conditions.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on the job location.
