Groundskeeper/Mower

Master Landscaping is looking for a Groundskeeper/Mower to maintain the aesthetic appearance of various lawns of all Scentsy owned properties through mowing/edging from March through November and perform a wide variety of groundskeeping tasks from December through February.

What You'll Do:

• Assist the Mow Crew Supervisor in maintaining all lawn areas throughout the growing season
• Ensure lawns are mowed and trimmed at proper heights with straight lines
• Ensure flowerbeds, hard surfaces, and walkways are free of debris, clippings, and weeds
• Edge walkways, flowerbeds, and curbs
• Operate landscape equipment including, but not limited to, riding lawnmowers, walking mowers, string trimmers, edgers, backpack blower, etc.
• Maintain existing landscape design and ensure plant survival
• Rake fallen leaves, remove tree limbs, overgrowth, and other hazards
• Pick up trash, debris, and other miscellaneous materials from the grounds
• Help others in the facilities department as needed, including afterhours events as needed
• Help Fertilize lawn and plants
• Ensure employee safety during inclement weather by removing debris, snow, and ice from communal walkways and spaces as needed
• Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed

We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, required
• Experience and knowledge of operating landscape maintenance equipment, i.e., riding lawn mowers, walking mowers, string trimmers, edgers, backpack blowers, etc.
• Knowledge and experience installing or maintaining sprinkler systems is a plus
• Knowledge and experience installing landscaping such as pavers, plants, and sod is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly daily
