Groundskeeper/Yard Maintenance

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Groundskeeper/Yard Maintenance professional. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of outdoor spaces through landscaping, lawn care, and general yard upkeep and maintenance.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor areas tidy and attractive
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for various yard projects
• Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and plants
• Assist with gardening activities including planting, fertilizing, mulching, and weed control
• Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify issues like pests, disease, or damaged landscaping features
• Support general maintenance tasks such as fence repairs, debris removal, and seasonal cleanups
• Use horticultural knowledge to promote healthy plant growth and sustainable landscaping practices
• Attention to detail is a must

Experience

• Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or groundskeeping
• Familiarity with lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic horticulture principles beneficial
• Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward yard care tasks
• Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
