Duties

• Assist with tree care activities including pruning, trimming, and planting to promote healthy growth and safety.
• Support rigging operations by securing tools and branches during tree removal or pruning projects.
• Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to assist with mapping and site planning for tree care projects.
• Maintain equipment includinghand tools, and safety gear, ensuring they are in excellent working condition.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor activities to prevent accidents and ensure team safety.

Qualifications

• Growing experience or background in horticulture, landscaping, or arboriculture preferred.
• Basic knowledge of tree care practices such as trimming, pruning, and planting.
• Familiarity with rigging techniques for safely lowering branches or debris.
• Ability to operate bucket trucks and other landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Nice-to-have skills include GIS proficiency, lawn care experience, landscape maintenance knowledge, and certifications related to horticulture or arboriculture.
