Our International client is looking for a Groundwater Modelling Expert to join their team in Saudi Arabia.
The required profile for the modeler must include an advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Hydrogeology and/or Hydrology, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in groundwater modeling. Their roles and responsibilities include:
- Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, process, and interpret hydrological, geological, hydrogeological and environmental data relevant to groundwater systems.
- Model Development: Design conceptual and numerical models using specialized software (e.g., MODFLOW, FEFLOW). Define model boundaries, initial conditions, and key parameters (hydraulic conductivity, recharge rates, etc.).
- Model Calibration & Validation: Calibrate models to fit observed data, perform sensitivity analyses, and validate model outputs.
- Scenario Simulation: Run predictive simulations for various management, remediation, or planning scenarios.
- Develop Dashboard
- Training client staff
- Reporting
