Due to a significant period of growth, we’re expanding our Customer Success team and looking for a Group Account Director to join us in one of our key locations—Phoenix, New York, or Chicago. This is an exciting opportunity to lead some of our largest, most strategic client accounts while shaping the future of our performance marketing practice.

The Gig

Do you live and breathe client success? As the Group Account Director at IDX, you'll become the ultimate champion for our key clients. You'll wear many hats – strategic advisor, results-oriented leader, and communication maestro. Unravel client pain points, craft winning strategies that translate into reality, and guide your team to flawless execution that drives client renewals and growth.

You Will

  • Own client relationships for one of our largest accounts based out of Chicago, IL.
  • Articulate strategic initiatives that address clients’ business challenges.
  • Become your clients trusted marketing partner sustaining relationships that continue for years into the future.
  • Partner closely with client contacts to engage in new opportunities and continue identifying areas to propose new solutions and drive change for their brand.
  • Create innovative digital presentations that focus on client's business goals across the entire customer journey.
  • Partner closely with subject matter experts and strategists to deliver integrated digital and performance marketing solutions from beginning through to completion.
  • Lead client conversations with confidence and maintain full control of the conversations.
  • Manage, train and mentor a team of account managers/directors.
  • Prepare account service-related documents such as agendas, reports, proposals, PowerPoint presentations, contract scopes, pricing, and other client communications and correspondence.
  • Understand our products and services as well as client strategies and business goals to ensure accurate project deliverables.
  • Understand client billing and report monthly to finance department.
  • Continuously grow your digital knowledge through personal development.

About You

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Account Manager or Director supporting high-value clients, at a digital agency or marketing firm.
  • Extensive knowledge and proven application of performance marketing processes, tools, and strategies is required, including paid media, content strategy and development, website development, SEO, analytics, marketing automation, and conversion optimization.
  • Strong leadership experience managing team members and daily team activities.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar accounts.
  • Passion for client service with a driven, “don’t stop ‘til it’s done” attitude.
  • Ability to manage several high-complexity projects simultaneously within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to foster optimal team and client relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to discover, promote, and sell solutions and services that would support client needs.
  • Strong time management and delegation skills with the ability to juggle many tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, oversee, and optimize performance marketing programs that deliver measurable ROI.
