Group CIO & Head of Family Office

Megapolis Group is a diversified investment holding with operating businesses and private investments across multiple sectors and jurisdictions. We are hiring on behalf of our founder — a senior executive to lead his family office and take full responsibility for the management, oversight, and growth of his personal and corporate capital.

This is a foundational hire. The structure is being built, and the right person will shape it. You will be the founder's right hand on everything related to capital — from operating businesses and holdings, to investment portfolios, to new opportunities, to the underlying legal and tax architecture. The role exists to give the founder a single trusted point of accountability and to bring transparency, structure, and strategic direction to a set of assets that has grown organically over time.

The mandate

The capital base today sits across:

  • operating companies and holdings,
  • private investments and direct stakes,
  • liquid portfolios across multiple private banks,
  • real estate in several jurisdictions,
  • physical assets including precious metals,
  • and ownership vehicles spanning the UAE, Switzerland, Spain, and other jurisdictions.

Your job is to bring all of this under one coherent roof — and then to actively manage and grow it.

What you will own

Investment leadership. Full responsibility for the investment portfolio across asset classes — equities, fixed income, structured products, private equity, venture, infrastructure, real estate, and precious metals. Setting allocation, making decisions in partnership with the founder, working with external asset managers where useful, and acting as his investment counterpart.

New opportunities. Sourcing, evaluating, and executing on new investments and new business opportunities — from direct deals and M&A to fund commitments and co-investments. Acting as the filter and partner on what to pursue.

Operating businesses. Overseeing existing operating companies and holdings — analysis, performance review, regular reporting, and active engagement with management teams where appropriate.

Banking, custody, and structure. Managing the relationship architecture with leading private banks and custodians — UBS, Julius Baer, Pictet, Vontobel, Emirates NBD, FAB Private Banking, and others — and owning the underlying ownership architecture of companies, SPVs, holding entities, real estate vehicles, and investment accounts across jurisdictions.

Advisors, compliance, and sanctions. Engaging and supervising the surrounding professional ecosystem — legal counsel, auditors, tax advisors, compliance specialists, family office service providers. Actively managing sanctions and regulatory compliance matters across all jurisdictions in close coordination with specialised counsel and the banks. You are the client; you set the agenda and hold them to it.

Consolidated transparency. Building and maintaining a single, clear view of the entire structure — what is owned, what it is worth, how it is performing, where the risks sit, where the opportunities are. Regular, high-quality reporting that the founder can actually use.

Who we are looking for

This is a role for someone who has done this before — or who has held a senior position adjacent to it and is ready to step into the full mandate.

  • A proven track record working with UHNW principals or single family offices, with genuine investment responsibility — not just coordination.
  • Strong personal network and operating experience in Zurich, with deep familiarity with Swiss private banking.
  • Experience working with international structures for internationally-mobile principals, including those with CIS origins, and full familiarity with the applicable compliance frameworks.
  • Solid investment judgment across both liquid and illiquid asset classes — comfortable making decisions, not just monitoring them.
  • The breadth to engage seriously with legal, tax, and structuring questions — and to know when to bring in specialists.
  • Fluent Russian and English — both are essential for the day-to-day work and for direct partnership with the founder.
  • The discretion, independence, and operational maturity expected at this level. Someone who is trusted with sensitive matters by default and who owns outcomes end-to-end.
  • The temperament to act as the central figure of the structure — not one advisor among many.

Ideal background

Former Head of Family Office, CIO of a single or multi-family office, senior private banker, EAM partner, or wealth management executive — ideally with a Swiss foundation and exposure to the Middle East.
