Our client Aghas Pakistan is looking for a Group Director of Accounts and Finance in Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar.
The perfect candidate must have held senior executive positions such as Chief Financial Officer, General Manager (Finance), or Deputy Director within large Pakistani conglomerates, multinational corporations, or significant public-sector entities. A strong background in large-scale project financing, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations is essential. This role requires expert knowledge of Pakistani corporate, tax, and company law, along with experience in implementing advanced ERP systems like Oracle or SAP. The Group Director will mentor and develop a talented finance team while forging close partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, financial integrity, and sustainable growth for Aghas Pakistan.
Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of the companys overall financial strategy in alignment with corporate goals and sector-specific requirements.

Oversee comprehensive financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting principles and regulatory standards.

Direct budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across multiple business units and subsidiaries.

Manage large-scale project financing efforts, including capital raising initiatives, investor relations, and corporate restructuring activities.

Design, implement, and audit complex financial controls and systems to safeguard company assets and ensure operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with Pakistani corporate, tax, and company law by maintaining expert awareness of all regulatory changes and requirements.

Lead the deployment and optimization of advanced ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP to streamline financial processes and reporting.

Provide strategic financial analysis and modeling to advise executive leadership on risk management, investment opportunities, and performance improvements.

Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of 25 finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and excellence.

Represent the finance function in executive meetings, contributing to cross-functional decision-making and long-term business planning.

Serve as a trusted advisor to the board of directors and senior management on financial matters, ensuring transparency and sound governance.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors, regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.
