Group Finance & Accounts Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance & Accounts Manager at a Group level who will play a critical role in our group finance function. You will be part of a high-growth ecosystem where financial strategy, regulatory compliance, investor relations, and cross-border operations intersect.

Location - Kolkata/ Bengaluru

You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining and overseeing the full accounting cycle across the group.
• Preparing consolidated financial statements and ensuring timely, accurate book closure.
• Driving budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support group-level strategic planning.
• Producing sophisticated MIS / KPI reports, including cash flow dashboards, working capital flows, and business-unit financial performance.
• Managing weekly cash flows, payments, and liquidity across entities
• Coordinating and managing audits, both internal and statutory
• Overseeing compliance with Indian accounting standards, tax, GST, TDS, as well as cross-border regulatory requirements.
• Liaising with external stakeholders: statutory auditors, tax consultants, regulatory bodies, and local and overseas government agencies (including RBI, Startup India, DIPP, Income-tax, GST, IFSCA, etc)
• Leading investor reporting (monthly / quarterly) — preparing investor decks, financial metrics, performance summaries.
• Building and maintaining relationships with banking partners
• Setting up of new operations within and outside of India
• Working closely with operating teams (investment desks, supply chain, operations) to provide financial insight and support in decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance; CA qualification is a must.
• At least 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting & finance.
• Strong analytical mindset, capable of building and interpreting financial models, KPIs, and forecasts.
• Ability to translate financial data into clear insights, and present to senior management and investors.
• High ethical standards, strong accuracy, and a proactive work ethic.
• Comfortable traveling within India and internationally as needed.
