We are currently supporting a major infrastructure investment platform in the Middle East in the search for a General Counsel to join its senior leadership team.
The organisation develops, invests in, and manages large-scale infrastructure concessions and PPP projects across multiple markets and is backed by significant institutional capital.
This role will take ownership of the legal and contractual framework across a complex, active infrastructure portfolio, covering concession agreements, EPC contracts, O&M structures, project financing arrangements, and multi-jurisdictional corporate entities.
At any given time, the legal function oversees 200+ live contracts across the platform, requiring strong oversight, prioritisation, and commercial judgement.
This is not a traditional legal oversight position.
We are seeking a highly commercial, transaction-oriented General Counsel who operates as a core part of the investment and delivery engine - not a downstream reviewer of documents.
