Job Description
We are seeking dependable and compassionate Group Home Support Staff to work with individuals with disabilities and behavioral challenges in a residential group home setting. Staff will assist residents with daily care, maintain a clean and safe home, administer or assist with medications as trained, and support residents during community outings and appointments.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and support to individuals with disabilities and behavioral needs
- Assist with feeding, meal preparation, and dietary needs
- Administer or assist with medications per training and agency policy
- Maintain cleanliness of the home (bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, laundry)
- Transport residents to appointments, activities, and outings
- Support residents during public outings and ensure safety and appropriate behavior
- Follow individual care plans and behavior support plans
- Use approved de-escalation techniques when needed
- Complete daily documentation and reports
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to transport residents safely
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to follow medication administration procedures (training provided)
- Reliable, patient, and able to work with behavioral challenges
- Must pass background check, DMV check, and required screenings
- Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays as needed)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist residents as needed
- Ability to respond appropriately during behavioral situations

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
