Shifts Available:

Magnolia location: Part time, every other weekend

Waltin location: Part time 7p-7a

Robinhood location: Part time, every other weekend

No experience? No problem! We offer paid training!

All DSP applicants MUST have high school diploma or GED, be willing to work toward medication administration certification to pass medications, have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and clean driving record < 6points to provide transportation for individuals into the community.

Direct Support Professional Job Description

Direct support professionals (DSPs) are people who work directly with Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in their homes and in their community, The DSP is responsible to provide direct services including, but not limited to: personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance, maintaining a clean, safe living environment, meal preparation and completion of various household tasks. A DSP may provide transportation and supports to a Individual at home, work, school, church, and other community places. A DSP is also an advocate, helping people in communicating needs, self-expression, and goals as well as assuring justice and equality in community life. In all things the goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment in their lives.
