Group Legal Advisor

We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our private clients, a prestigious family-owned group based in Doha, Qatar , with diversified industries. As part of their continued development, they are seeking a high-caliber legal professional to join their leadership team through the following role:

Position: Legal Advisor

Location: Doha, Qatar

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal guidance across the group to ensure compliance with Qatari laws, regulations, and internal governance frameworks.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial, real estate, IP, franchise, and JV contracts.
• Establish legal standards and authority matrices to streamline legal operations and manage group-wide risk.
• Manage legal relations with external law firms, regulatory bodies, and key government entities.
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes , and proactively advise leadership on risk mitigation and operational impact.
• Support group-level activities including mergers, acquisitions, and corporate structuring.
• Handle dispute resolution in coordination with internal departments and litigation partners.
• Develop training programs for internal teams to ensure legal awareness and compliance.
• Maintain proper legal records and reporting systems across all group entities.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (Master’s or certifications in commercial law, compliance, or governance is a plus)
• 8–10 years of legal experience within a corporate or group structure supporting multiple business units and senior leadership (GCC experience)
• Strong knowledge of contract law, governance, licensing, and regulatory frameworks
• Ability to work across departments and advise senior management with clarity and confidence
• Fluent in Arabic and English (both written and verbal)
