Job Title: Pastry Chef

Department: Operations

Reporting To: Operations Manager & Group General Manager

Location: Bahrain

Applicants must reside in Bahrain, possess the relevant skills and experience, and answer all pre-screening questions, to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, following all recipe guidelines on ingredients, portion and presentation, performing routine food quality checks (taste, temperature, consistency, storage, labelling etc.), continuously learning and developing knowledge on recipes with new and/or existing culinary creations and resources, keeping up to date on menu changes and new items, and completing all daily/weekly operational and administrative duties.

Additional tasks involve attending and participating in regular training, training new staff, monitoring inventory, food quality, and cost controls, as well as maintaining a cordial and cooperative team atmosphere for smooth operations and safeguarding all equipment and products of the restaurant, reporting any potential health and safety hazards.

Maintaining excellent grooming and personal hygiene is imperative, along with an attentive, polite and helpful attitude towards all customers and colleagues.
