About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Group Sales Manager (Task Force) to focus on business travel accounts. You will drive revenue growth by developing and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, meeting planners, and travel coordinators. This is a hands-on role with a direct impact on the hotel’s occupancy and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, and manage corporate group accounts to maximize hotel revenue.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with business clients, travel managers, and meeting planners.
• Create proposals, negotiate contracts, and close group business deals.
• Collaborate with operations and revenue management teams to ensure smooth execution of events and stays.
• Track and report sales activity, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Attend networking events, trade shows, and client meetings to grow the hotel’s business presence.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of hotel corporate/group sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Chicago corporate and group market.
• On-site five days per week; no remote option.
• Proven ability to drive immediate revenue results.
• Experience working in a Task Force or transitional environments preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in hotel sales systems and CRM platforms.
