About Us

  • Townloop: Local-first, zero-cost commerce platform for nearby neighborhoods (principle radius 5 miles; max 20 miles). Platform fee is 5% per order (includes ~3% card fee; net to us ~2%). Restaurants/food service are not supported. We also enable urgent services (plumbing, HVAC, locksmith, towing, handyman, etc.).
  • EasySolarSupply.com (EAS): Our industrial supply arm for hardware, solar, electrical/MEP and related product lines—positioned both as a supplier and a turnkey “e-commerce website replacement” for merchants who want modern, low-cost online stores powered by our stack.
  • Growth path: When Townloop surpasses 100,000 active stores, this role will shift to in-office . We plan bi-coastal offices and turnover warehouses and Office(East & West Coasts).

What You’ll DoA) Townloop — Merchant Growth (Non-Restaurant only)

  • Acquire & activate local merchants; your KPI is the count of Registered & Activated Stores you directly deliver.
  • Run zero/ultra-low-cost channels (local communities, Facebook/Nextdoor groups, chambers/associations, meetups, door-to-door, partnerships). No paid ads/agency SEO/KOL buys/list purchases.
  • Build the Emergency Services supply side with fast, compliant onboarding paths.
  • AI-driven growth: Create workflows for copy/creatives/short-video, outreach automation, lead cleaning, follow-ups, and light analytics to maximize registrations per hour.
  • Funnel improvement: Map friction (onboarding, listing, checkout, messaging) and submit no-extra-budget improvement proposals to our in-house dev team.

B) EasySolarSupply — Industrial GTM & “Site Replacement”

  • Position EAS as a preferred supplier and website replacement for hardware, solar, electrical/MEP categories.
  • GTM planning: Segment target accounts (hardware stores, trades, EPCs, small industrials), define offers (starter catalog bundles, sample kits, onboarding credits), and outline migration playbooks (content import, SKU normalization, payments, taxes, shipping).
  • Channel motions: Partnerships with local contractors/EPCs, trade groups, and distributors; territory roadmaps aligned to future East/West Coast office & warehouse coverage.
  • Ops interfaces: Propose no-budget integrations/flows (catalog import, GS1/UPC readiness, simple order/quote flows, card-on-file, RMA basics); partner with dev to ship.

C) Planning → Approval → Execution

  • Produce market plans and execution playbooks (see “Deliverables”) and present to the Founding Team.
  • Execute only after approval, then report weekly on progress, blockers, and metric deltas.

D) Light Team Leadership

  • Lead two remote support teammates (company-provided): define weekly goals, SOPs, QA, and handoffs.

KPI & Counting Rules (How We Measure)

A store counts as “Registered & Activated” when all are true:

  • Store profile completed (name, logo, contact, local address).
  • Authenticity verified (phone/email/address cross-check or equivalent).
  • ≥1 product or service published and visible (urgent services count).
  • Payment setup minimally connected/passed basic checks (no transaction required).

Quality multipliers (influence bonus, not base count):

  • Update within 7 days (new listings/photos/replies), active interaction/quotes/orders, clean outreach (zero/low-cost documented), low negatives/chargebacks/violations.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3+ years in B2B/local services/SaaS/platform growth or merchant acquisition (or quota-carrying BD) with verifiable results.
  • Hands-on with AI tools (content, short-video, outreach automation, lead ops, simple analytics) and able to codify repeatable SOPs.
  • Familiar with U.S. local small-business ecosystems (home services, trades, repairs, beauty/personal care, retail/non-perishable) — excluding restaurants.
  • Project leadership; can drive a small remote team to daily/weekly goals.
  • Strong written & verbal English; persuasive scripts and field-ready demeanor.
  • Willing to work onsite at 101 Monroe St, Carthage, NC 28327 as needed; open to future in-office shift once the 100k-store milestone is reached.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Facebook/Nextdoor/Reddit/local chambers; merchant onboarding; payments/POS basics; gig/urgent-service platforms.
  • Light data skills (funnel, retention, attribution) and low/no-code automation.
  • Industrial/solar/EPC channel familiarity is a plus for the EAS scope.

What We Don’t Fund (Hard Constraints)

  • No additional marketing budget: no paid ads, agency SEO, KOL fees, list buys, or sponsorships.
  • All proposals must rely on AI + organic channels + in-house development (no external paid vendors).

Deliverables (for Founding Team Approval)

  • 30/60/90-day Townloop plan with weekly committed store targets (by town/channel) + AI workflow diagram.
  • EAS GTM plan: target segments, offer design, migration playbook, territory rollout, warehouse coverage assumptions (East/West), KPI tree.
  • Execution playbooks:
  • Merchant acquisition scripts (DM/email/phone/door-to-door), flyer & 30–45s short-video scripts.
  • Onboarding SOP (KYC, listing checklist, payment check, first-week “activation push”).
  • EAS migration SOP (catalog import template, SKU/GS1 normalization, payment/tax/shipping setup).
  • Weekly report format: targets vs. actuals, funnel metrics, QA notes, experiments, dev requests (no-budget), risks/asks.

Location & Hours

  • Remote or Onsite at 101 Monroe St, Carthage, NC 28327.
  • Full-time (~40 hrs/week); occasional evenings/weekends for community or trade events.
  • Travel as needed for territory development and for future East/West Coast office/warehouse ramp.

Compensation

  • Competitive base + KPI bonus tied to Registered & Activated Stores (monthly).
  • Tiered multipliers for quality metrics; top performers may discuss long-term incentives.

Important: Townloop does not support the restaurant/food service category. Focus your pipeline on non-restaurant local businesses and on EasySolarSupply industrial categories.
