Biohack Yourself Media is an independent health and wellness platform spotlighting evidence-based insights, longevity science, and breakthrough biohacking innovations. Our ecosystem includes an internationally distributed printed magazine, digital journalism, documentary film releases, product reviews, and high-visibility editorial and advertising placements across our channels.

We produce social-first reporting that helps audiences understand what’s happening in health, wellness, and performance culture—while building relationships and access across the industry.

Role Overview

The Growth Reporter (On-Camera) is a hybrid editorial and relationship role. You’ll create short-form, social-first reporting on relevant stories, events, people, and emerging trends in health and biohacking.

This role is designed for independent creators who can operate as credible on-camera talent—self-producing content quickly—and who are comfortable using press positioning to open doors, secure interviews, and build ongoing relationships that support the Biohack Yourself ecosystem.

This is a 1099, performance-based role paid per video submission. It is not a salaried position.

What You’ll Do

On-Camera Reporting & Social Video Production

• Cover timely health, wellness, longevity, and biohacking stories
• Produce 1–2 minute social-first videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
• Develop strong hooks, pacing, and clear storytelling for short-form formats
• Conduct interviews with experts, founders, athletes, and operators
• Maintain credibility and accuracy while keeping content engaging

Event Coverage & Field Reporting (When Applicable)

• Attend and cover summits, expos, launches, clinics, and other relevant events
• Secure interviews using press access and professional outreach
• Capture behind-the-scenes content and fast-turnaround updates

Relationship Building & Ecosystem Growth

• Build relationships with clinics, brands, gyms, longevity centers, and practitioners through reporting
• Identify collaboration and partnership opportunities that emerge naturally from coverage
• Make warm introductions to internal teams when there’s clear alignment
• Operate with good judgment: protecting the Biohack Yourself name and reputation comes first

What You Will Not Be Responsible For

• Pressure sales tactics or closing quotas
• Contract negotiation, pricing, or invoicing
• Campaign fulfillment, media buying, or customer support
• Managing brand accounts post-partnership

Your responsibility is content, access, and high-quality introductions when appropriate.

Compensation

• Paid per approved video submission and event covered (up to $1,250 per day)
• Performance upside is tied to value created through content, access, and relationships
• Details and rates are shared during onboarding

This role is designed for independent operators who prefer performance-based work over a guaranteed salary.

Required Qualifications

• Strong on-camera presence and comfort conducting interviews
• Ability to self-film and self-edit (phone + tools like CapCut, Premiere, Canva, etc.)
• Social-native storytelling instincts (hooks, pacing, captions, clarity)
• Confidence approaching founders, practitioners, and experts professionally
• Strong judgment, professionalism, and discretion
• Genuine interest in health, wellness, longevity, and performance culture

Preferred (But Not Required)

• Existing relationships in wellness, longevity, fitness, clinical, or founder ecosystems
• Experience in journalism, content production, or field reporting
• Event coverage experience (live environments, fast turnaround, mobile setups)
• Familiarity with evidence-based reporting standards
