Position : **Officer -GST Compliance

Reports To : **Manager/Senior Manager-GST

Level & Band : *Officer-GST Compliance (MIBS)*

Place of Posting : **Nasik, Maharashtra

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Part of the Central GST team handling GST compliance for the Central and East Zones, based at the Nashik Plant

Scope of responsibilities -

Ensure Compliance with GST regulations for all transactions related to outward and inward supplies, services, exports, e-way bills, and logistics. The role involves preparation of GST return and filing, reconciling tax payments, managing ITC claims and their reconciliation with GSTR-2B, support in MIS preparation, and coordinating with internal teams such as Logistics, SCM, and Finance to maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily GST Compliance & Monitoring

  • Verify GST applicability on invoices for vehicle/Tractors/Farm Machinery sales, spare parts, and services. "
  • Coordination with Regional Stockyard and logistics team to ensure and comply with reference to Eway bill Compliance and E-Invoice requirements.
  • Monitor and Reconciliation of the Job Work Challans issued during the month and update the database.
  • Ensure correct tax codes in ERP systems (SAP).
  • Coordinate with the Regional Accounts and IO team. Support in case of Export shipment planned from Stockyard

GST Returns & Filings

Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other periodic returns such as Job work (ITC-04) and ISD (GSTR-6) Return

Preparation and filing of Annual Return (GSTR-9, GSTR-9C) and reconciliations"

2. Reconciliation & Reporting"

  • Validation of Input Tax Credit (ITC) and reconciliations with books and GSTR 2B basis of the eligibility
  • Preparation of MIS reports for management on monthly/ Yearly GST compliance.

3. Coordination with Stakeholders

  • Follow up with suppliers/Service Vendors for GST-reconciliation.
  • Support branch/Stockyard and Finance team for GST-related queries or specifically to resolve the ITC mismatch of Vendors/Dealers/Services etc.

4. GST Audit & Notices

  • Provide support in preparing documentation required for GST notices and audit queries
  • Maintain comprehensive records for GST audits and assessments.

5. Regulatory Updates

  • Stay updated on GST amendments and implement changes in processes.

Experience

  • 4–5 years in GST compliance, preferably in manufacturing or automobile sector.

Qualification

  • CA Inter preferred/ MBA (Finance) / CMA Inter / M. com

Industry Preferred

  • Automobile

Competencies

  • Knowledge of GST laws and provisions.
  • Conversant in SAP/ERP and Proficiency in MS office applications (Word and Excel).
  • Good communication and coordination skills."
  • Knowledge of GST Law and provisions
  • Knowledge of Tax Invoices, Input Tax credit and reconciliation
  • Knowledge and Understanding of GSTR 2B reports, Monthly/Half yearly and Annual return GSTR-1/GSTR-3B/ITC-04/GSTR-9/9C.
  • Knowledge of Eway bill compliance and classification of the goods (HSN)
  • Basic knowledge of MIS reports

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
